Job Description:

Fleetwood Metal Industries, a division of Cleveland-Cliffs Tooling and Stamping, has an immediate opportunity for a Press Operator in our Tillsonburg, Ontario Stamping Facility. The Quality Team Lead is responsible for leading the Quality associates, ensuring consistent quality standards are maintained and effective quality assurance processes are applied across the plants. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in cold stamping, be self-motivated and thrive in a fast-paced work environment. Job Responsibility:

  • Daily support including shift rotation/scheduling for departments Quality Auditors
  • New Employee/Hire Quality training as required
  • Supporting/promoting open communication with Production Supervisors/Quality Auditors as Quality concerns arise
  • Quality clerical functions (i.e. data input, maintaining, generating and storing files)
  • Generating Quality Alerts and distributing as required
  • Issuing/Purging of documents on plant floor as needed
  • Monitoring Hold Tag log
  • Supporting Quality representative when required (i.e. blueprints required, Master Part(s) needed, etc.)
  • Daily support and auditing for plants Quarantine and EPC area
  • Fill in as Quality Auditor or Destruct when staffing restrictions require so
  • Assist with maintaining and calibrating all plants checking fixtures
