Job Description:

Robert Half is currently seeking a Quality Inspector to support our manufacturing team by performing detailed inspections of electronic assemblies and components. This role is responsible for ensuring products meet defined quality standards and specifications through accurate, consistent inspection and documentation. This is a hands-on, production-floor role requiring strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently using established standards.

Job Responsibility:

  • Perform inspection of Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBA)
  • Wire harnesses and flex circuits
  • Mechanical components (as needed)
  • Inspect to industry standards such as IPC-A-610
  • Interpret engineering drawings, work instructions, and specifications
  • Identify and document nonconforming parts
  • Make pass/fail determinations based on defined criteria
  • Escalate defects and quality issues to appropriate teams
  • Support incoming, in-process, and final inspections
  • Maintain accurate inspection records and data

Requirements:

  • 2–5+ years of experience in quality inspection in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience inspecting PCBA and electronic components
  • Strong understanding of IPC-A-610 standards
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions
  • Experience with inspection tools (microscopes, calipers, basic measurement tools)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Knowledge of IPC-A-610 Certification
  • Experience in aerospace, defense, or regulated manufacturing environments
  • Familiarity with quality systems such as AS9100 or ISO9001
