Job Description

The Quality Inspector & Test Technician supports production by ensuring our products meet quality standards and customer specifications. This role combines inspection, end-of-line testing, troubleshooting, and technical support to maintain production flow and product reliability.

Job Responsibility

  • Perform end of line inspections to ensure compliance with engineering specifications and quality standards
  • Maintain detailed inspection and record findings in system (tablet)
  • Identify defects, determine root causes, and collaborate with production teams on corrective actions
  • Ensure compliance with internal quality systems and industry regulations
  • Monitor production processes and recommend improvements to enhance product quality and efficiency
  • Serve as first point of contact for team leaders and supervisors when end-of-line test issues occur
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical malfunctions during assembly and end-of-line testing
  • Analyze and interpret test data to diagnose issues and implement corrective solutions
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and update work instructions as needed
  • Communicate effectively with end-of-line operators to ensure daily production targets are met

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
  • 1-2 yrs experience as a Test Technician (preferably in a manufacturing setting)
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems (compressors, fan motors, valves, condensers, piping, and control devices)
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, refrigeration piping schematics, electrical schematics, and engineering drawings
  • Demonstrate troubleshooting skills in electrical, electronic, and automated control systems (PLC knowledge preferred)
  • Ability to detect subtle defects or non-conformances
  • Basic knowledge of Ethernet networking and computer systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong analytical and root cause problem-solving skills
  • Clear communication skills with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift equipment as required
