Job Description

Arrow Electronics is looking for energetic and enthusiastic individuals that work well in a fast-paced computer and electronics distribution center. This position supports the operation by performing various warehouse functions, including receiving, product sort and separation, picking inventory for orders, packaging orders based on product type, and shipping functions. Overtime work can be regular and is required based on business goals. Impeccable attendance is required.

Job Responsibility

  • Responsible for inspecting assembled products to ensure adherence to documented requirements
  • Complete physical inspections of product
  • Audit against documents and procedures
  • Provide recommendations to processes and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 LBS
  • Acquires basic skills to perform routine tasks
  • Work is prescribed and completed with little autonomy
  • Has no discretion to vary from established procedures
  • Works with either close supervision or under clearly defined procedures

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience
  • Ability to regularly operate a computer for basic functions
  • Ability to identify basic computer devices including, PC’s, laptops, HDD’s, printers, networking, monitors
  • Must have strong attention to detail
  • This position involves standing and or walking for considerable lengths of time
  • Bending to floor level is required
  • Heavy lifting (up to 50Lbs) is required
  • Collaborate with team members, leads, and supervisors to contribute to department-wide production & quality goals
  • Impeccable attendance is required
  • Impeccable quality is required
  • Be available to work a flexible work schedule as needed during overtime requirements

  • Inspection of spaceflight components such as buses, solar arrays, sun sensors, reaction wheels and other subassembly components
  • Reviewing and verifying incoming documentation from suppliers including material traceability, test reports, certificates of conformity, and packing lists
  • Documentation of inspection activities using electronic information systems, written logs, and labels
  • Witness and verify various testing and setup operations
  • Detection of non-conforming conditions and documenting in clear and precise language
  • Collaborate with program Quality Engineers and Manufacturing personnel in support of process and product non-conformances in a constructive and well-articulated manner
