Job Description:

As a Quality Inspector Apprentice, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the precision and reliability of components used in both production and trials environments. You’ll begin your journey at our Skills Academy, where you’ll build a strong foundation in inspection techniques and engineering principles. Once you’ve developed your core skills, you’ll move into a live working environment, applying what you’ve learned to real-world tasks. Alongside your practical training, you’ll study towards a Level 3 Engineering and Manufacturing Support Technician Apprenticeship, which includes a Level 3 Diploma in Engineering and Manufacturing Support Technologies.

Job Responsibility:

  • Inspect a wide range of mechanical and electrical parts, working from detailed drawings and written procedures
  • Use first principle measurements with hand tools
  • Operate advanced, computer-guided precision equipment
  • Apply learned skills to real-world tasks in a live working environment

Requirements:

  • Five GCSE’s at Grade 4/C or above to include Maths and English
  • Applicants must be aged 16 or over, as of 31st August 2026, due to security clearance requirements
  • You’ll need to be a British Citizen for security clearance
