Job Description:

SQA Services is hiring immediately in Tallassee, Alabama, for Level II Composites Inspectors to support our client's production of Boeing 787 GEnx-1B engine fan case modules. This role is critical to maintaining on-time delivery through accurate, high-throughput in-process and final composite inspection, including MRB verification. This is a full-time 6-month contract role.

Job Responsibility:

  • Perform visual, dimensional, depth gauge, and Shore A durometer inspections on composite panels
  • Verify compliance to engineering drawings and specifications
  • Document inspection results in MES or digital quality systems
  • Support MRB verification and maintain a target throughput of 8 panels/day

Requirements:

  • 5+ years inspecting aerospace composite structures (Level II equivalent)
  • Strong defect recognition and dimensional inspection skills
  • Experience with durometer testing (certification provided if needed)
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and write clear inspection reports
  • Must be ITAR compliant and must be willing to undergo a background check

Nice to have:

  • MRB, repair, or rework inspection experience
  • Familiarity with GE Aerospace or Boeing programs
  • High-volume production inspection background
