Job Description:

Select Offshore is recruiting experienced Quality Inspectors to support the commissioning phase of a major offshore wind project. Working offshore on a rotational basis, you will be responsible for conducting quality inspections at multiple stages to ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and client expectations. Your contribution will directly support continuous improvement efforts and help guarantee that all deliverables meet the highest standards of safety, performance, and reliability before handover to the operations team.

Job Responsibility:

  • Perform inspections on wind turbine components and systems during commissioning
  • Ensure quality standards are met across all scopes of work offshore
  • Identify and report non-conformities, ensuring timely resolution
  • Support the documentation and traceability of inspection outcomes
  • Liaise with client representatives, contractors, and the project QA team
  • Contribute to root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Maintain accurate inspection records and assist with handover documentation
  • Uphold safety and quality as joint priorities across all offshore activities

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Quality Inspector on offshore wind or energy projects
  • Strong understanding of quality standards, industry codes, and inspection techniques
  • Familiarity with mechanical, structural, or electrical turbine components
  • Detail-oriented with excellent documentation and communication skills
  • Offshore survival and medical certification
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States
  • Experience working to OEM or Tier 1 contractor standards preferred
