Job Description:

The Quality Governance & Risk Specialist works within the QGR team to ensure HammondCare services focus on the delivery and improvement of quality care, service, and staff safety. This role aligns services with HammondCare’s philosophy, supports goal achievement, and involves extensive responsibilities including risk management, quality improvement, accreditation, and maintaining quality systems.

Job Responsibility:

Risk Management across designated region
Quality Improvement across the organisation/region
Accreditation and external assessment and reporting
Work Health and Safety
Ensure optimum usage of Quality Systems

Requirements:

Commitment to engage and align with HammondCare’s Christian Mission, Motivation and Mission in Action
A relevant health or care related tertiary qualification with experience or more than 4 years working in the Quality space
Extensive experience and knowledge of Health and/or Aged Care, continuous improvement, quality management and accreditation standards and processes
Strong interpersonal and communication skills including high level written and oral communication, negotiation, customer focus and solution focused skills
Experienced in operating effectively in a multi-site environment
Strong administrative and computer skills
Ability to work independently on a regular basis whilst working as part of a team
Ability to demonstrate empathy and patience
A proven track record within the QGR Specialist role and currently performing at a high level
Leadership traits and ambitions
Competence in providing feedback and structured support for audits and reviews
