We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Co-Op Student to join our Quality Engineering team in San Jose, CA. Job Responsibility:

  • Assist the Quality team to effectively support our customers needs and issues
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to boost the efficiency and quality of our manufacturing operations
  • Conduct data analysis and develop recommendations for process improvement
  • Assist in the creation of trending reports
  • Assist the Quality Engineers in the day-to-day activities to support our customers
  • Support the NCMR process for the disposition of NC parts etc
  • Work closely with other departments for analysis and improvements initiatives
  • Assist in the creation and presentation of daily, weekly, and monthly reports for internal and external parties
  • Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner to get along with customers, clients, co-workers, and management

Requirements:

  • Currently in year 3 or 4 of a 4-year degree program in Quality Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related Engineering field
  • Strong technical and problem-solving skills
  • Be able to work at least 40 hours a week continually
  • Ability to follow oral and written guidelines
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent computer skills including MS Office and Google Suite
  • Strong commitment to respect, integrity, and accountability
  • Willingness to learn takes initiative, and offers improvement ideas
