Quality Engineer

• Maintain job instructions relevant to the departments
• Disposition non-conforming material
• Feedback quality problems to suppliers, both internal and external, and assist in developing solutions to same
• Use quality engineering tools (SPC, problem-solving, data analysis, PFMEA, etc.) to diagnose and solve problems by using data to support such efforts
• Use standard tools (caliper, micrometer, height gage, etc.) to measure and assess component parts relative to drawing and process needs

• 1-5 years’ experience in quality engineering, preferably in a fast-paced, relevant industry
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively up and down the organization
• Strong track record of successful problem-solving
• Bias towards action
• Hands-on approach to leading process changes, particularly with shop-floor personnel

Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) or equivalent from a college or university in Engineering, Industrial Technology or related field preferred
