As a Quality Engineer, you will dive deep into the intricacies of our engineering documentation, assessing and enhancing how we translate complex requirements into clear, actionable instructions for our production teammates. Your role will be both challenging and rewarding, as you will engage directly in the building process through on-the-floor observations, ensuring that quality is not just a goal but a culture. You will also be a part of our safety and quality transformation through the execution of our Comprehensive Safety and Quality Plan. Job Responsibility:
Analyze engineering documentation to determine process capability and conformance
Perform data analysis of defect trends and present findings and recommendations
Lead projects to identify root cause and eliminate defects and rework
Execute quality build plan changes
Recommend corrective actions to address non-conformances
Perform engineering change review and verification
Continuous improvement of quality engineering processes
Requirements:
ABET accredited engineering degree
3+ years’ experience in Aerospace, Manufacturing, Quality, or another regulated industry
3+ years of experience in summarizing and/or reviewing documentation to develop informational or technical materials
3+ years’ experience collecting, organizing and analyzing data, summarizing findings, and developing conclusions
3+ years’ experience applying Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) or other similar rigorous problems/analysis/resolution processes
3+ years of experience leading or managing projects that involved cross-functional or cross-business unit teams
Nice to have:
5+ years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience working in Quality Engineering or other production engineering job role
Experience working with AS9100 and/or similar QMS standard
Experience with analytics tools & software
Proactive and collaborative mindset with an emphasis on positive relationships
Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written
