Job Description:

A renewable energy contractor is looking to engage a Quality Engineer to support the delivery of a large scale Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project in the South East. The role will play a critical part in ensuring quality assurance, structured documentation and compliance throughout the construction and commissioning phases.

Job Responsibility:

Oversee QA/QC processes across the BESS installation
Conduct inspections, audits and verification of works
Manage ITPs, test records, NCRs and quality documentation
Support the project team with structured quality control and handover deliverables
Ensure compliance with project standards and assist with final documentation packages
Work closely with engineering, construction and commissioning teams to maintain quality discipline

Requirements:

Experience in QA/QC roles on BESS, HV/LV, Solar PV or other energy infrastructure projects
Strong understanding of installation quality requirements and structured documentation
Ability to manage ITPs, audit processes and quality reporting
High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
Confident working in a dynamic, fast-moving project environment
