Quality Engineer

• Conduct regular inspections and surveillance to ensure compliance with quality requirements and produce reports of findings. Follow through on findings to satisfactory closure
• Provide expertise to document originators in the formation of Inspection and Test Plans and BIM 360 Field checklists
• Collaborate with project teams to identify potential quality risks and implement preventive measures
• Maintain accurate records of quality-related activities, including inspection reports, test results, and non-conformance instances
• Collaborate with integration Teams to proactively work on EiS, AMP and Health and Safety Files
• Support the development of quality-related training materials for alliance-wide dissemination
• Investigate and analyse non-conformance incidents, identify root causes, and recommend corrective action and identify trends
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of site quality documentation in alignment with company standards
• Collaborate closely with project teams to gather all necessary quality documentation throughout project life-cycles
• Monitor progressive assurance of ITPs by the delivery teams to ensure that checklists and quality verifying records are being created contemporaneously
• Carry out audits in line with the Audit Schedule and report findings and follow through to satisfactory closure
• Support delivery of H&S Files within site teams
• Provide training to project teams on quality standards, processes, and tools

• Graduate in relevant discipline OR professional qualification (e.g. CQI Diploma (Level 5))
• Membership of the CQI or other relevant professional body
• Internal Auditor
• Proven experience within a live rail environment with similar complexity and risk, sufficient to understand and review end to end processes and propose quality improvements
• Ability to form effective working relationships with Stakeholders
• Network rail experience would be advantageous
