Job Description

Perform inspections of subassemblies or finished company products according to well defined criteria using standard physical, mechanical and/ or electrical measurements. Contributes into site improvement actions and programs related to the IQ scope. Inspection of locomotive maintenance activities during schedule maintenance according to defined work instruction & specification Workstation audit, quality tool calibration & recording results Provide defect awareness to associates and team on regular basis Reduce defect rate by taking proactive corrective and preventive actions. Inspection and acceptance or Reject products as defined in the working instructions. Accurately document NCR and results of the inspections and testing, so as to launch the expected reaction on supplier side and teams (QRQC, Quality wall,...). Follow-up of open issues and waivers and drive actions for closure. Control the correct calibration of critical equipment and instrumentation used in the inspections
