Join us as a Sr. Support (Quality Engineer Product/Factory) in Pune responsible for maintaining and improving Quality of products & processes, Supplier/Process audits, Customer claims resolution and Indirectly responsible for QHSE & ALPS system implementation.
Job Responsibility:
Carry out stage inspection of Raw materials, semifinished/Finished products according to Quality Assurance plan
Prepare & maintain inspection/test records of parts/products
Prepare & review quality plan on periodic basis as per Alfa Laval/Customer requirement
Signoff on GRN/Putaway based on inspection results
Conduct/coordinate the Calibration of measuring instruments
Coordinate Supplier/Customer/Third party inspection as per requirement
Participate/conduct Supplier and Internal audits
Handle quality related Non conformity/observations/comments
Handle quality improvement projects/activities
Participate in projects/activities to launch new products/modify existing ones
Manage claim analysis and relative resolution process
Fulfill the customer requirements in terms of Quality and certification
Follow the requirements of QHSE,ALPS & 5S in work area & ensure timely closure of audit deviations
Contribute to develop Quality assurance system with focus on auditing process, KPIs management, training/competences development, SOPs and instructions and improvement projects/activities
Execute any additional responsibility assigned by Manager as per requirement
Requirements:
Degree/Diploma Engineer in Mechanical/Production/Welding stream with minimum 3 years of experience in Quality function
Good knowledge of using measuring instruments, preparing Quality control plans & statistical analysis
Good knowledge of CNC machining, Welding & Assembly processes
Knowledge of Material & test standards (ASTM/EN/ISO)
Well conversant with measurement systems (Conventional, MM)
Awareness of ISO systems for Quality, Health, Safety & Environment
Exposure to Lean manufacturing tools, Six sigma & 5S concepts
Experience in Stainless steel products such as Pumps valves and Fittings is preferable
Knowledge of Food and Pharma standards and compliances, GMP, CE/PED, ASME standards will be an added advantage
Inspection of Machined, fabricated components & assemblies
Use of measuring instruments (Conventional and CMM)
Knowledge of Problem-solving tools (7QC tools, Six sigma)
Knowledge of PPAP and APQP processes
Knowledge of QMS & HSE systems (ISO 9001,14001,45001)
Good communication & analytical skills
Willingness to work in shifts & travel to supplier/customer for inspection
Shall be highly motivated, energetic & with positive attitude towards work
Required to be a team player with good communication & analytical skills
Nice to have:
Lean Six sigma green belt/Black belt is desirable
