We are seeking an experienced Quality Director to oversee product and supplier quality management across our Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen operations. This role is critical in ensuring compliance with global quality standards, fostering supplier partnerships, and maintaining seamless communication with our European headquarters.
Job Responsibility:
Develop and implement robust quality assurance frameworks aligned with EU, FDA, and other international regulations
Ensure adherence to company standard and industry-specific standards for cosmetics and personal care products
Lead supplier audits, evaluations, and capacity-building initiatives to ensure consistent quality and compliance
Resolve non-conformance issues and drive corrective actions with suppliers
Act as the primary liaison between Asia operations and European HQ, providing regular quality performance updates
Align local practices with global quality policies and regulatory requirements
Manage a cross-regional QA/QC team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability
Proactively identify and mitigate quality risks in the supply chain and production processes
Lead crisis management for quality-related incidents
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, Quality Management, or related field
8-10 years in QA/QC roles within the cosmetics/personal care industry, including 3-5 years in leadership
Fluent English (written and spoken) with experience in international stakeholder communication
Deep knowledge of global cosmetic regulations (EU CPNP, China NMPA, US FDA)
Proven track record in supplier quality management and audit processes
Strong analytical skills with expertise in root cause analysis tools (e.g., Six Sigma, 5Whys)
