Job Responsibility
Act as a mentor and coach for Quality Engineers, providing technical support and skills development
Train and monitor the development of Quality Technicians and interns
Define skill matrix needs, supporting the direct supervisor in personnel development
Coordinate and lead meetings with customers to address escalations
Present quality KPIs, results, and issue status to customers
Follow up on corrective and preventive actions committed to customers
Ensure effective communication with the production team
Analyze and manage quality issues originating from suppliers
Escalate critical supplier issues when necessary
Ensure timely response and closure of quality issues
Define, analyze, and present quality KPIs
Ensure compliance with standards (IATF 16949)
Participate in internal and external audits
Provide guidance on critical topics across all business units
Ensure successful launch of new projects on time and within budget through area checklists / PDP
Ensure compliance with plant quality indicators through the use of quality tools (Core Tools, BPS, PFM, etc.)
Requirements
Engineering degree or related
5+ years of experience in a similar position in Tier 1 automotive industry
