Job Responsibility

  • Act as a mentor and coach for Quality Engineers, providing technical support and skills development
  • Train and monitor the development of Quality Technicians and interns
  • Define skill matrix needs, supporting the direct supervisor in personnel development
  • Coordinate and lead meetings with customers to address escalations
  • Present quality KPIs, results, and issue status to customers
  • Follow up on corrective and preventive actions committed to customers
  • Ensure effective communication with the production team
  • Analyze and manage quality issues originating from suppliers
  • Escalate critical supplier issues when necessary
  • Ensure timely response and closure of quality issues
  • Define, analyze, and present quality KPIs
  • Ensure compliance with standards (IATF 16949)
  • Participate in internal and external audits
  • Provide guidance on critical topics across all business units
  • Ensure successful launch of new projects on time and within budget through area checklists / PDP
  • Ensure compliance with plant quality indicators through the use of quality tools (Core Tools, BPS, PFM, etc.)

Requirements

  • Engineering degree or related
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar position in Tier 1 automotive industry
  • Experience leading teams and managing personnel
  • Strong technical knowledge in quality topics (problem solving, core tools, KPIs)
  • Advanced English is mandatory to be considered
  • Experience with statistical analysis software (Procella, Minitab)
