As a Quality Controller, you will join the production team. You'll start in either the "stopperij" (mending) or "rollerij" (rolling) department. In the "stopperij" department, the first phase of quality control takes place. Fabrics are inspected for defects and then repaired. You will receive comprehensive training to master the products and quality standards. In the "rollerij" department, the second phase of quality control is performed after the fabric rolls have been processed by external finishers. The rolls are also packaged in this department.
Job Responsibility:
Manually repair thread breaks in fabrics
Unroll linen and perform the necessary checks (colors and coating)
Cut and package products according to client specifications (size, rolled or in packages, etc.)
Record detected defects in our system
Ensure the quality of textile materials
Requirements:
You are in good physical condition and are not afraid of manual work
You are a team player and communicate easily with colleagues and superiors
You can work autonomously
You work efficiently and accurately
You already have experience with a needle and thread (sewing/mending)
You are fluent in Dutch or English or French
You are precise and have an eye for detail
You are willing to work in a two-shift system (5 AM - 1:15 PM and 1:15 PM - 9:30 PM)
