Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced and detail-driven Quality Controller to join our night shift operation. This role goes beyond checking orders, it ensures all fruit and vegetable products meet strict quality standards before dispatch, maintaining consistency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.

Job Responsibility:

  • Checking and controlling the quality of all fruit and veg orders before dispatch
  • Ensuring all products meet company and customer specifications
  • Identifying and resolving quality issues, discrepancies, or damages
  • Working closely with pickers, warehouse team and operations managers to maintain accuracy and efficiency
  • Supporting smooth flow of orders through the dispatch process
  • Following company procedures and health & safety standards
  • Maintaining high standards in a fast-paced environment

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience within the fruit and veg catering or fresh produce industry
  • Strong product knowledge is essential
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high standard of accuracy
  • Ability to make confident quality decisions
  • Good communication skills and a team-focused attitude
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced night shift environment
  • Reliable, proactive, and quality-focused approach to work
