At Crusoe, we move fast and we build things. We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and precise Quality Assurance Technician - Electromechanical Installer to join our manufacturing team in Tulsa. This role is critical to the safety infrastructure of our electrical equipment, requiring absolute accuracy in the assembly and installation of complex mechanical safety interlock systems (Kirk Key). You will play a vital role in quality assurance, ensuring that safety components are installed correctly and function perfectly according to engineering diagrams.
Job Responsibility:
Ensure the proper management and installation of complex mechanical safety interlock systems (Kirk Key)
Read and interpret mechanical and electrical manufacturing drawings and schematics to a competent level, ensuring components are installed in the correct order and sequence per documentation
Maintain a detailed, accurate inventory of specific serialized components and verify that the correct serialized components are installed at the required steps
Follow detailed installation instructions and verify the proper functionality of all installed components before releasing the product to the next stage
Mechanically lay out and securely mount placards and identification plates onto panels according to drawings
Perform other essential duties, including moving and staging of electrical cabinets as they move through the quality assurance area
Work diligently to meet and exceed accepted safety and quality standards in all tasks performed, utilizing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Requirements:
Strong background in mechanical assembly and wiring fundamentals, with proficiency in using basic hand tools
Proven ability to read and interpret technical schematics and blueprints to a high level of accuracy
Exceptional Attention to Detail and Accuracy in execution and documentation
A strong commitment to Adherence to Safety and Quality Standards and protocols
Demonstrated ability in Organization and Material Management, including creating clear and accurate labels for component identification
Effective communication skills for clear reporting and collaboration with team members and engineers
Must be able to pass a background check
Ability to stand, walk, stoop, and bend for extended periods (up to 8 hours or more daily) to perform assembly tasks
Requires constant use of arms, hands, fingers, eyes, legs, and back
Ability to regularly lift, lower, push, and pull materials up to 50 lbs
