Job Responsibility:
Inspect raw materials, in-process parts, and finished goods using engineering drawings.
Write inspection, NCR, and CAR reports manually or on a computer.
Use lab equipment to test if products meet specific requirements.
Manage the calibration of measuring instruments and gauges.
Assist the engineering team with failure analysis and prototype testing.
Verify the quality of work for the custom fabrication team.
Follow established procedures for inspecting incoming manufactured parts.
Work with outside labs and calibration services as needed.
Requirements:
Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and standards.
Expert use of measuring tools and knowledge of calibration systems.
Solid understanding of steel materials and metallurgy.
Familiarity with processes like forging, heat treating, and machining.
Knowledge of industrial coatings, including galvanizing and painting.
Clear verbal and written English communication skills.
Ability to work independently as a self-motivated professional.
