Looking for a reliable QC Technician role in Brantford, Ontario? We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to join the Manufacturing & Logistics sector for a permanent, straight afternoon shift. As a Quality Control Technician, you will ensure all products meet high-quality standards through rigorous testing and inspection. Job Responsibility:

  • Inspect raw materials, in-process parts, and finished goods using engineering drawings.
  • Write inspection, NCR, and CAR reports manually or on a computer.
  • Use lab equipment to test if products meet specific requirements.
  • Manage the calibration of measuring instruments and gauges.
  • Assist the engineering team with failure analysis and prototype testing.
  • Verify the quality of work for the custom fabrication team.
  • Follow established procedures for inspecting incoming manufactured parts.
  • Work with outside labs and calibration services as needed.

Requirements:

  • Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and standards.
  • Expert use of measuring tools and knowledge of calibration systems.
  • Solid understanding of steel materials and metallurgy.
  • Familiarity with processes like forging, heat treating, and machining.
  • Knowledge of industrial coatings, including galvanizing and painting.
  • Clear verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently as a self-motivated professional.
