The Quality Control Supervisor will provide training and scheduling of auditors and inspectors to support manufacturing schedules, and assure compliance to Quality Systems requirements. The leader shall be responsible for the maintaining of the ASC quality system for Henderson.
Job Responsibility:
Coordinate Incoming Inspection activities
Issue and follow up on Supplier Corrective Action for defective material
Develop appropriate training for hourly production and quality associates
Maintain appropriate individual training records and department Training Matrix
Assure adequate support to operations areas including production reporting, scrap analysis and reporting, and proper manning of Inspectors
Schedule, conduct and administer the Internal System Audits
Conduct and report results of document reviews
Implement corrective action as required
Responsible for coordination, execution, and closure of external Quality Management Systems Audits
Review scrap reports and QC checkpoint rejections to set priorities in manufacturing operations to reduce scrap
Coordinate monthly document reviews in the Quality Management System
Perform internal audits according to API and ISO requirements
Responsible for NCR and corrective actions
Complying with federal, state and local safety regulations
Preparing safety reports and statistical data
Reviewing and approving the safety aspects of new chemicals and processes prior to introduction into the facility
Requirements:
Certified ISO 9001:2000 Lead Auditor
Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Adobe skills
Requires knowledge of quality control test procedures
Must be able to communicate with shop personnel regarding procedures and processes
