Job Description:
Every day, we get opportunities to make a positive impact – on our colleagues, partners, customers and society. Together, we’re pioneering the solutions of the future and unlocking the full potential of precious resources. Trusted to act on initiative, we challenge conventional thinking to develop world-leading technologies that inspire progress in vital areas, including energy, food, water and shipping. As we push forward, the innovative, open spirit that fuels our 140-year-old start-up culture and rapid growth also drives our personal growth. So, as we shape a more resourceful, less wasteful world, we build our careers too. About the job… As a Quality Specialist, you’ll play a key role in ensuring that every product and process meets the highest standards of excellence, supporting our mission to make the most of resources and enable sustainable progress across industries. In this role, you’ll review project specification documents to identify customer quality requirements and ensure they are fully implemented throughout production. You’ll document inspection and testing activities in line with established procedures, assist in developing weld procedures, and collaborate closely with manufacturing teams to secure consistent application of project quality standards. You’ll coordinate with third-party customer inspectors, oversee document control within the Quality Department, and recommend improvements to strengthen our quality management system. Your work will include evaluating production activities, performing audits across quality, manufacturing, and engineering, and supporting resolution plans for nonconforming conditions. Beyond daily operations, you’ll contribute to continuous improvement initiatives—applying Lean manufacturing principles and root cause analysis to drive efficiency and reliability. You’ll also perform quality control inspections and tests from material receipt through fabrication and final inspection, ensuring compliance and precision at every stage. Success in this position calls for a proactive, collaborative mindset. You’ll participate in team meetings, communicate clearly and constructively, and uphold Alfa Laval’s commitment to safety, respect, and professionalism. This is an onsite position located in Broken Arrow, OK.
