Job Description

We’re looking for a reliable and hardworking Quality Control Operative to join our busy tyre team in Poole. This is a hands on role where you’ll be working with tyres daily, ensuring they are inspected, checked for quality, packaged correctly and processed through our systems. If you’re someone with strong attention to detail, enjoys physical work and takes pride in keeping things organised, this role offers a great opportunity to be part of a fast paced and supportive team.

Job Responsibility

  • Inspecting tyres to ensure they meet quality standards
  • Preparing, cleaning, and labelling tyres ready for packaging
  • Packaging tyres to a high standard for storage and dispatch
  • Carrying out quality control checks to identify damage or defects
  • Updating inventory and maintaining accurate records using inhouse systems
  • Moving and sorting tyres safely in line with manual handling practices
  • Working closely with Warehouse and Production teams to maintain smooth operations

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a warehouse, production or manual handling role
  • Experience working with Tyres is highly desirable
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and accuracy
  • Reliable, hardworking and health & safety conscious
  • Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team
  • Basic IT skills (comfortable using phones, tablets, or handheld systems)
  • Physically fit and able to work in a hands-on environment
