Job Description:

Harris Paints is a regional group of companies which manufactures, distributes, and retails paint, accessories, and high-performance coatings across the region. As our business continues to expand its regional base, we are seeking to individuals who are customer-centric and performance-driven to join our dynamic team.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assist in the establishment and maintenance of efficient production processes and a safe work environment
  • Perform quality tests and material inspection. Control and maintain the resulting records in a timely, accurate, and easily retrievable manner
  • Ensure the laboratory operations meet or exceed efficiency and International Organization for Standardization (ISO) / Business Management System (BMS) quality standards
  • Supervise production workers, plan and assign work, implement policies and procedures as directed
  • Assist the Production and Technical Manager in determining staffing requirements, work procedures, and duty assignments
  • Ensure that proper quality and efficient efforts are being performed for all working jobs. Verify specifications throughout the production process

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or related field, along with at least three (3) years’ experience of related work experience
  • Three (3) A’ Levels passes including Chemistry or a Diploma / Associate’s Degree in Quality Assurance with at least four (4) years of related work experience
  • Excellent knowledge of Retail, Sales and Customer Service processes and best practices
  • High level of interpersonal and communication skills
  • Sound Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and Point of sales systems
  • Passion for excellence with a “can do” attitude along with an “eye for colour”
  • Innovative & Customer focused with an interest in interior design
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and a vehicle

  • Facilitate regular communication between teams in the form of meetings,/conferences, calls/Briefings etc
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and future development of the safe entry processes
  • Help operational teams to build a tool to reduce or mitigate the need for confined space entry works
