Job Description:

Are you an experienced QC professional who has worked within a cGMP microbiology environment? SRG have a fantastic opportunity to join a successful and expanding organisation in the Central Belt of Scotland.

Job Responsibility:

  • Development of quality systems, in particular those relating to QC activities of the Quality Department
  • Review and approve data such as Environmental Monitoring and QC testing
  • Assist with stability study management
  • Approve and release incoming Raw Materials
  • Carry out a range of microbiological testing
  • Support the ongoing maintenance and management of subcontract facilities
  • Trending QC data
  • Ensure all QC processes are compliant with cGMP guidance

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of and experience in regulated industrial microbiology/cleanroom environments
  • Experience in QC release and/or stability testing would be beneficial or experience of similar techniques and lab work
  • Experience of working in a GMP regulated environment would be beneficial
  • Experience of helping manage a QMS and assist with investigations

  • May perform pre-operation inspection at the start of the production shift as well as pre- sanitation inspection at the end of the shift
  • Validate production pre-operational sheets are complete and accurate
  • Conduct metal detector and X-ray checks and monitoring through the course of the shift
  • Conduct sensory evaluations of raw materials and finished product, ensure specification compliance for finished products
