We are looking for a dedicated Quality Control Manager to join our team on a long-term contract basis located in the Greater Philadelphia Region. In this role, you will lead efforts to assess and improve quality systems, processes, and organizational structures within the energy and natural resources sector. The Quality Control Manager position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact by aligning practices with industry standards and driving continuous improvement.
Job Responsibility:
Conduct a comprehensive review of existing quality documentation, tools, and processes to assess alignment with industry standards
Develop detailed process maps for quality workflows, including design, supplier, manufacturing, and field quality procedures
Evaluate the organizational structure of the quality team, analyzing roles, responsibilities, and competency gaps
Identify strengths and weaknesses within the current quality system, providing actionable insights for improvement
Create a detailed baseline assessment report highlighting gaps between current practices and industry benchmarks
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions based on findings from gap analysis
Facilitate ongoing quality control activities to ensure continuous improvement across operations
Serve as a key advisor in aligning quality processes with relevant standards such as ISO 9001 and other industry-specific guidelines
Monitor and report on the progress of implemented changes to ensure effectiveness
Support the development of training programs to enhance team competencies in quality management
Requirements:
Proven experience in quality control management within the energy or natural resources industry
Strong knowledge of industry standards, including ISO 9001 and other relevant guidelines
Expertise in process mapping and organizational analysis
Ability to perform gap analyses and identify areas for improvement
Excellent communication skills for collaboration and reporting
Proficiency in quality control tools and methodologies
Familiarity with continuous improvement practices
Capability to lead and mentor teams to enhance quality management processes
