Job Responsibility:

  • Apply relevant industry standards and specifications
  • Ensure quality compliance for Hull, Marine, and Mooring equipment
  • Create and improve Inspection Test Plans (ITPs)
  • Use risk-based approaches to plan inspections
  • Supervise third-party inspectors and key inspection stages
  • Review and approve inspection and technical reports
  • Perform supplier audits and qualification assessments
  • Lead root cause analyses and follow up on corrective actions
  • Run improvement workshops with key suppliers
  • Drive quality and transformation projects
  • Track performance and measure improvements
  • Share Lessons Learned across projects
  • Communicate regularly with internal and external stakeholders
  • Work closely with Procurement, Engineering, Project Teams, and QC leadership

Requirements:

  • Minimum 8 years in engineering, supply chain or inspection roles
  • Minimum 5 years in Quality Control
  • Qualified lead auditor ISO 9001
  • Familiarity with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Proven ability to lead quality initiatives and process improvements
  • Familiarity with Lean, RCA, Kaizen, and Six Sigma
  • In-depth knowledge of the manufacturing of goods and services related to Marine & Mooring scopes
