Job Description

Are you a detail-oriented science professional looking to kickstart your career in a dynamic laboratory environment? We are looking for a motivated Laboratory Test Technician to join a high-performing team focused on precision and quality in medical device testing.

Job Responsibility

  • Execute routine performance checks, including Adaptive Process Control, incoming material verification, and Lifetime event testing using written instructions
  • Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting of lab equipment
  • Track laboratory supplies, manage in-house stock, and communicate reorder points
  • Participate in equipment improvement efforts and experimental testing for Process Engineering and R&D
  • Maintain meticulous records for all testing processes and results

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in a field of science or a related technical discipline (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Working knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and general lab safety protocols
  • Effective communication in a team
  • Prioritize multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to speak up regarding safety or quality concerns
  • Manual dexterity and ability to distinguish between colors
  • Ability to perform extended periods of detailed visual inspection
  • Ability to walk, bend, stretch, and occasionally lift boxes up to 30 lbs
  • Ability to adjust work hours for overnight shifts or on-call support as scheduled
