Quality Control Inspector

• Use precision measuring tools like, calipers, micrometers, and gauges to check dimensions and tolerances of machined parts against blueprints and specifications
• Visually inspect for surface defects, blemishes, and proper finish
• Follow established quality control protocols and inspection plans
• Perform first article inspections to verify initial production parts meet requirements
• Comply with all internal and external quality management system audits
• Record inspection results and document any deviations from specifications
• Generate detailed inspection reports highlighting quality issues and non-conforming parts
• Communicate findings to production personnel and quality management
• Data entry into ERP software
• Communicate with customers to resolve problems relating to quality, inspection, returns and rework
• Coordination of waivers or deviation regarding

• 3 years minimum Experience Quality Control Inspector
• Strong understanding of machining processes, tolerances, GD&T and blueprint reading
• Proficiency in using various precision measuring tools like calipers, micrometers, and gauges
• Excellent attention to the finest details. Ability to identify even minor defects and inconsistencies
• Familiarity with relevant quality standards and regulations
• Ability to interpret data, analyze root causes of problems, and propose solutions
• Material certification tracing and tracking
• Strong communication skills – written and verbal
• Knowledge of workplace health and safety
• Ability to comply with company’s policies and procedures
• Able to lift to 50 lbs unassisted
