High School Diploma or GED required
Minimum 1-3 years of electronic part inspection experience
Proficient experience utilizing inspection tools (i.e., multi-meters, calipers, micrometers, microscopes)
Demonstrated proficiency in reading basic schematics, specifically those related to PCBs and PWAs
Read and interpret part documentation, including blueprints, drawings, schematics, etc.
Utilize Google Suite, Microsoft Office, and various communication systems effectively
Identify and escalate potential issues
Maintain clear and accurate records and documentation
Must have excellent organizational skills, possess high attention to details, with the capacity to handle numerous tasks simultaneously
Excellent and effective oral and written communication

Job Responsibility

Perform and document inspections of products and processes, including electronic cables, GPS devices, Wi-Fi dongles, connectors, mechanical enclosures, shields, and other critical components
Conduct inspections tied to receiving raw materials, parts, components, and fit checks as necessary
Ability to inspect First Article components and subassemblies
Prepare in-process inspection reports, ensuring completeness and accuracy
Maintain Quality documentation
Identify the serviceability of parts and components and appropriate tooling

Previous fitting and welding experience is required
AWS certified welding inspector, ASNT level-II certification, and/or SSPC/NACE certification is desirable
5 years of experience in a steel fabrication shop environment
Must be able to read and understand blueprints and shop drawings and pass an inspector test
Must have excellent mathematical skills
High School or equivalent degree required
Ability to lift 50 lbs. frequently and be able to climb 25 ft
Must have ability to bend, stoop, push and pull frequently
Requires occasional travel with overnight stays
Exposure to temperature fluctuations and loud work environment

Work within guidelines provided in company QA/QC Manual and apply codes and standards offered by related governing bodies such as AISC and AWS
The ability to work overtime and regular, punctual attendance is required
