Job Description:

Are you an experienced Quality & Compliance Manager from the textiles sector? Can you confidently lead the operational delivery and continuous improvement of Quality Assurance and Compliance frameworks in a growing business? This is a pivotal role ensuring all products meet regulatory, performance, chemical, and environmental standards across UK, EU, USA, and Marine markets. You will drive a culture of quality, safety, and continuous improvement across the business while partnering closely with internal teams and external suppliers.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead and maintain the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System, ensuring audit readiness and compliance
  • Oversee product compliance, testing programmes, supplier assurance, and complaints management
  • Manage regulatory compliance across multiple markets (including REACH and environmental standards)
  • Lead technical investigations into product issues, identifying root cause and corrective actions
  • Oversee external laboratory testing, certifications, and testing governance
  • Manage supplier quality frameworks, including audits, non-conformance, and escalation
  • Own quality data, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Support cross-functional collaboration with design, supply chain, manufacturing, and sales

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a Quality / Compliance role within manufacturing or textiles
  • Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001 (ISO 14001 desirable)
  • Experience with product testing, supplier quality, and regulatory compliance
  • Understanding of textile processes and fault analysis (preferred but not essential)
  • Confident communicator with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Highly organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Commercially aware with a practical, solutions-focused approach
