Job Responsibility

Complete ordering, purchasing, receiving, storing and distribution of goods
Assist and liaise with other department leaders with stock ordering and property supplies
Ensure proper authorisations for all goods received
Receive all goods in accordance with the Hotel’s Local Standard Operating Procedure
Prepare daily reports on all goods received
Responsible for overseeing all store inventories, maintaining stock levels, rotating stock and issuing items
Conduct monthly stocktaking and costing reconciliations as required by the Finance department
Maintain the cleanliness of the receiving area and store areas

May be asked to assist with Centralized Purchasing process as well as executing Warehouse to Warehouse Transfers

Participate in End of Month (EOM) inventory process and periodic cycle counts as required
Utilize various reports (such as Negative Usage) to identify trends and areas for transactional process improvement
Prepare communication materials for management and for the hourly staff including, but not limited to: bulletin boards, schedules, memos, etc
