Job Description:

This position will be field based covering the Stafford area. In this role, your key focus will be to audit, monitor, improve and evaluate quality systems and procedures whilst providing technical support to the operational teams. In this busy and varied role, you will maintain and promote technical and quality standards in line with business needs and customer requirements.

Job Responsibility:

  • To always promote a positive and professional image of the department, by adhering to company policies, procedures, and standards
  • Raising and following up on non-conformance reports, to ensure that any actions identified, pursued, and resolved
  • Work as part of a larger team to develop working practices and procedures
  • Work safely and responsibly within MJ Quinn’s values and operational policies, procedures, and accepted behaviours to avoid harm to yourself, those around you and our neighbours and communities
  • Completes Quality audits on works completed across various projects
  • Conducts tasks allocated by the Q Manager to ensure contractual requirements are fulfilled
  • Completes MJQ Site Assessment Checklists
  • Completing Root Cause Analysis on behalf of the Q Manager if required
  • Carries out safety audits to Openreach Standard
  • Gives feedback on any issues found on audit

Requirements:

  • Working within a Civils environment
  • Have experience of working within a similar role/sector
  • Have strong planning, organisation, monitoring and listening skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate at all levels
  • Good level of IT skills
  • Using own initiative, working at pace to tight deadlines
  • Enjoy a challenge, have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate at all levels

  • Understand the site traceability system to complete audits to demonstrate compliance and retrieve information for investigation purposes
  • Take samples (micro, nutritional, swab and organoleptic) against specific schedules and communicate the progress in a timely manner
  • Prepare and facilitate taste panels in accordance with procedure - ensuring that all results are accurately recorded and communicated to site
  • Calibration of measurement equipment in accordance with schedules and procedures
  • Assist the QA Supervisor in carrying out full investigations on specifications (micro and nutritional), complaints and incidents
  • Support NPD trials and product launches, assisting in micro testing and product life assessment to ensure products are manufactured to the correct standard as necessary
  • Provide technical support and advice to the factory team in the event of customer visit or audit
  • Coordination of day to day activities to deliver improvement of Technical KPIs
