Are you eager and excited to start a new job as a Warehouse associate? Randstad Canada is currently hiring for one of our esteemed clients specializing in sports apparel customization & retail experience technology connecting consumers with authentic products & engaging customization experiences. We are currently hiring for Quality check associates for a 3 month contract with possibility for extension and even full time for the right candidate. If you are a student on academic drop or scheduled break and willing to do general labor work, we can hire you! Location: Gurney Crescent North York ON Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm Pay Rate: $20/hr

Job Responsibility

  • Conduct routine inspections of in-house products at various stages of production, ensuring they meet company and customer quality standards
  • Identify and report defects, inconsistencies, and non-conformance issues, and communicate findings to the Quality Assurance Manager
  • Labeling, steaming, counting, and packaging sports apparel
  • Collaborate with production teams to address quality concerns and ensure corrective actions are implemented
  • Verify that all products comply with customer specifications, and ensure proper labeling and packaging
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections and any corrective actions taken
  • Utilize intermediate Excel skills to record inspection data, create reports, and track quality trends
  • Perform visual checks, color assessments, and basic garment testing such as seam strength or component durability checks
  • Follow established quality control procedures, ensuring consistency in inspections and product evaluations
  • Assist with training production staff on quality standards and inspection techniques

Requirements

  • Experience in quality inspection, preferably within the apparel industry
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to spot defects and quality issues quickly
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English, with effective communication skills
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data entry and reporting
  • Knowledgeable about apparel production processes and quality standards
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Must also have a clear criminal record check

  • Ensure AOH product is manufactured, tested, stored, and distributed according to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Amgen standards, and applicable regulations
  • Drive investigations and resolution of deviations, ensuring timely, thorough, and compliant outcomes
  • Lead and participate in Quality Risk Assessments
  • Provide Quality input to support project or operational design decisions
  • Build organization according to hiring strategy that supports our growth. Partner with HR to recruit, coach, develop, motivate, and retain staff. Ensure ongoing organizational structure capable of adapting to evolving business needs
  • Provide oversight to ensure that Amgen Quality Management System is implemented and maintained in accordance with corporate standards
  • Track performance and drive continuous improvement in the performance and delivery of quality outputs in alignment with Quality strategies
