Job Description:

We are looking for a motivated Quality Assurance Tester to join our team in Providence, Rhode Island. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about ensuring software reliability and functionality through rigorous testing methods. You will play a key part in maintaining high-quality standards for our digital products.

Job Responsibility:

Perform manual testing to identify software defects and ensure product functionality
Utilize tools like Selenium to automate browser-based testing processes
Collaborate with development teams to establish and refine testing protocols
Document and track issues using Zendesk or similar platforms, ensuring timely resolution
Conduct regression testing to verify that updates do not compromise existing functionality
Prepare detailed test reports and provide actionable feedback to stakeholders
Participate in quality assurance planning and contribute to process improvement initiatives
Review product requirements and specifications to develop comprehensive test cases
Assist in maintaining and enhancing QA documentation and guidelines
Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on quality goals

Requirements:

Familiarity with manual testing practices and techniques
Experience with Selenium for web browser automation
Proficiency in using Zendesk or similar issue tracking tools
Strong understanding of quality assurance methodologies and best practices
Ability to write clear and concise test cases and reports
Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills
Effective communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical teams
Recent graduates in technology or related fields are encouraged to apply
