Job Description:

The Quality Assurance (QA) Technician is responsible for performing a variety of routine laboratory operations in a quality assurance setting.

Job Responsibility:

  • Performs a variety of routine laboratory operations in a quality assurance setting
  • monitors the production process and product by sensory, weight control, and analytical methods
  • evaluates all finished product
  • accurately performs and documents all testing
  • communicates out-of-compliance situations
  • practices safety and hygiene
  • executes the Food Safety Plan and Food Quality Plan
  • identifies whether out-of-compliance product should be placed on hold
  • coordinates disposition and/or rework
  • monitors raw materials storage
  • monitors metal detection validation & verification
  • audits allergen maintenance sheets
  • conducts pre-op inspections
  • performs plant sanitation verifications
  • mandatory overtime is required.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED and/or 1-year production experience in a manufacturing environment required.
