Job Description

Apex Systems has a immediate need for a contract Quality Assurance Technician for one of our growing Food clients in Philadelphia.

Job Responsibility

  • Inspection of all products to ensure compliance with GMP principles
  • Communicate with Quality Management and adhere to all quality standards
  • Sample testing Brix, pH, water baths, environmental monitoring, micro analysis & packaging testing
  • Perform mock recalls to the needs of customers and SQF
  • Support process improvement initiatives
  • Assist with non-compliance notification and corrective action follow ups

Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree preferred, AS and non degree with applicable experience
  • Previous Manufacturing experience is preferred
  • 2nd shift
  • Only local candidates will be considered
