Job Description:

Implement, monitor, and manage food safety programs, as well as quality control systems designed to ensure product safety, security, and maintain world-class HBH quality standards. Must be able to function autonomously, be self-directed, and provide frontline quality leadership.

Job Responsibility:

  • Implement, monitor, and manage food safety programs, as well as quality control systems designed to ensure product safety, security, and maintain world-class HBH quality standards
  • Ensure compliance with safety, food safety, and product quality procedures at HBH Ecommerce facility
  • Provide timely feedback to operations personnel and the QA Team regarding the status of food safety and food quality issues
  • Train facility personnel on policies/procedures relating to SSOP’s, GMP’s, SOP’s, and product quality requirements
  • Assists in the development and implementation of action plans to correct food safety and food quality deficiencies
  • Performs QA checks via internal product evaluation forms and ensures product meets company standards
  • Performs hourly SSOP, SOP, QA, and HAACP monitoring
  • Ability to troubleshoot and take corrective actions
  • Assist with production activities as needed
  • Develop process improvements
  • Appropriate and timely responsiveness to correct product quality issues

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of quality assurance and/or production experience within a manufacturing environment
  • USDA experience preferred
  • High school or equivalent
  • HAACP Certification is a plus
  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices preferred
  • Ability to be self-directed, work with little supervision, and provide quality leadership
  • Ability to identify and articulate product quality issues
  • Ability to establish quality control procedures and produce written instructions and procedures
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with others in a team environment
