Job Description:

Quality Assurance Tech- 1 position at a Medical Devices Company. Entry level role with limited experience, developing skills in basic tasks and procedures. Responsible for developing and implementing a compliant and cost-effective quality system.

Job Responsibility:

  • Is entry level with limited experience.
  • Develops skills in basic tasks, techniques and procedures within one skill area/process/method.
  • Maintains appropriate licenses/training/certifications, as needed.
  • Applies basic knowledge and skills to complete routine tasks consisting of prescribed steps
  • Responsible for developing and implementing a compliant and cost-effective quality system that assures products and services are reliable, safe and effective.

Requirements:

  • Has basic skills training in an analytical/scientific method or operational process area.
  • Works within clearly defined SOPs and/or scientific methods and adheres to quality guidelines.
  • Works with a high degree of supervision and has minimal discretion.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of basic operating procedures for a specific functional area
  • Accountable for the execution of specific tasks with oversight of a supervisor
  • Has some effect on quality, cost, and/or productivity

  • This position has the authority to hold product that does not conform to customer agreements, finished product specifications, or legal requirements and is also authorized to make decision regarding product disposition including release
