Job Responsibility:
Ensure Quality and Compliance: Oversee manufacturing and packing operations to guarantee alignment with PIC/S GMP, internal quality systems, and regulatory standards. Conduct in-process quality checks, deliver GMP guidance, and support validation and calibration processes
Lead Investigations & Implement CAPA: Manage investigations into deviations, non-conformances, and complaints. Perform root cause analysis and drive corrective and preventive actions
Champion Audits & Continuous Improvement: Plan and conduct internal audits, identify improvement opportunities, and champion quality-driven initiatives
Manage Documentation & Change Controls: Write, review, and approve GMP documents and records. Oversee change control processes, ensuring documentation, quality, and regulatory compliance
Validation: Support validation activities across equipment, process, cleaning and computerized systems. Participate in qualification activities (IQ/OQ/PQ) alongside technical and production teams
Support Training, Collaboration & Supplier Quality: Provide GMP and quality training to teams, collaborate cross-functionally, and assist with vendor qualification, supplier monitoring, and product quality reviews
Champion a Quality Culture: Act as a role model for quality, safety, and Vitaco’s values, contributing to a positive, high-performing team environment
Requirements:
3+ years in Quality Assurance within pharmaceutical, complementary medicine industries or food
Strong working knowledge of PIC/s to GMP and RMP requirements
Tertiary qualification in science, food technology, pharmacy or a related field
Excellent attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills, and advanced computer literacy (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel)
Proactive, positive, and passionate about quality and continuous improvement. Able to manage time effectively and adapt to changing priorities
Excellent interpersonal skills, able to build relationships and communicate clearly with colleagues at all levels
Ability to build relationships, communicate effectively, and contribute to a supportive, high-performing team
