A growing organization is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist to support operational excellence across multiple functional areas. This role is responsible for conducting quality reviews, identifying performance trends, ensuring compliance with established standards, and driving continuous process improvement initiatives.
Job Responsibility:
Conduct quality reviews across multiple functional areas to ensure compliance with operational standards and procedures
Perform objective, accurate, and concise quality assessments with a focus on continuous improvement
Maintain a monthly quality score of 96% or higher and an approved challenge percentage below 5%
Meet established productivity standards across all assigned functional areas
Serve as a subject matter resource by maintaining a strong understanding of program operations and functional workflows
Track trends, identify recurring issues, and recommend process improvements to enhance service delivery and quality outcomes
Update and maintain quality monitoring systems to compile and track assessment data
Assist with implementing and maintaining quality assurance processes, controls, and best practices
Monitor and ensure staff complete required corrections from returned quality assessments
Perform administrative tasks to support business objectives and quality team operations
Support cross-functional departments as needed
Contribute to special projects and additional duties as assigned
Requirements:
Experience in government services, consumer services, health and human services, or equivalent relevant experience preferred
Public sector healthcare experience strongly preferred
Medicaid and/or CHIP program experience is a plus
Previous quality assurance, auditing, compliance, or operational review experience preferred
College degree is preferred
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
Strong analytical, organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities
Ability to produce highly accurate work under tight deadlines
Self-motivated with strong initiative and the ability to manage multiple priorities
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing processes and guidelines
Ability to work independently while maintaining confidentiality of quality assessments
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Ability to type a minimum of 30 WPM
Bilingual skills preferred
