Job Description

Join a global leader in Burgess Hill, supporting their warehouse and inspection team with a focus on quality assurance, supplier engagement, and process improvement. Monday to Friday 37.5 hours. Temp for 6 month + - reviewed for extension.

Job Responsibility

  • Investigate recurring quality issues with incoming parts
  • Engage directly with suppliers to understand root causes of non-conformance
  • Analyse inspection results and determine whether issues stem from the parts, the process, or the system
  • Review and improve inspection procedures to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure quality standards are upheld across the supply chain
  • Use systems like SAP to track quality data, supplier performance, and inspection outcomes

Requirements

  • Experience in quality assurance or inspection within aerospace or automotive or manufacturing environments
  • Strong understanding of supply chain processes / root cause analysis
  • Confidence using systems such as SAP or similar ERP tools
  • A proactive mindset focused on continuous improvement and problem-solving

  • Design, develop, maintain, and improve automated tests and frameworks across services, messaging flows, integrations, data validation, regression, resilience, and non-functional testing
  • Act as the quality engineering owner for assigned applications or components, providing clear, evidence-based sign-off recommendations and risk assessments
  • Build automation that validates business-critical backend behaviours, including pricing, order execution, market data, trade lifecycle events, risk flows, and downstream integration points
  • Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, TeamCity, or equivalent platforms
  • Review requirements, designs, user stories, interface contracts, data flows, and acceptance criteria to identify gaps, ambiguity, risk, and testability concerns
