Job Description:

An exciting Interim Opportunity has arisen for an experienced Quality Assurance Officer to support Children's Services. This role is key to promoting and maintaining high standards of social work practice, ensuring positive outcomes for children and their families. You will adopt a proactive approach to quality assurance, working closely with the Quality Assurance Manager to support the implementation and delivery of the Quality Assurance Framework. The position involves contributing to a structured programme of audit and quality assurance activity across the service. You will also play an important role in driving service improvements, assisting with workshops and practice development initiatives informed by audit findings.

Job Responsibility:

  • Deliver a proactive and robust approach to quality assurance
  • Support the implementation of the Quality Assurance Framework
  • Undertake audits and quality assurance activity across Children's Services
  • Work collaboratively with the Quality Assurance Manager to improve practice
  • Assist in facilitating workshops and learning events
  • Promote continuous improvement and high-quality service delivery

Requirements:

  • Degree in Social Work (or relevant profession)
  • Evidence of post-qualifying learning and professional development
  • Social Work England registration
  • Previous experience of Quality Assurance activity
