Job Description:

Individuals in Quality Assurance, Monitoring & Testing are responsible for the assessment of outcomes from activities and processes against conformance with applicable requirements to strengthen risk management quality. This includes development and execution of Monitoring and Testing for controls, control design assessment, design of operational effectiveness for monitoring & testing tools, and execution of monitoring/testing tools to assess effectiveness of key controls.

Job Responsibility:

Assist in performing monitoring review that augment principles defined per PRCM
Help teams in end-to-end monitoring of controls as defined in Risk Management policy
Participate in strategic initiatives for control performance enhancement
Involve in Control & Monitoring Design Assessment meetings and help draft procedures
Identify monitoring breaks and suggest enhancements
Assist in creation and maintenance of reports for control tracking and analysis
Help identify risks across the business and organize cross functional solutions
Assess risk when making business decisions
Drive compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations

Requirements:

Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience
Good understanding of Citi Risk & control framework
Experience in control related functions in the financial industry
Experience in executing sustainable solutions
Understanding of compliance laws, rules, regulations, and best practices
Understanding of Citi's Policies, Standards, and Procedures
Good analytical skills to evaluate complex risk and control activities
Good verbal and written communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience

Nice to have:

Self-motivated and detail oriented
Good understanding of how the team interacts with others in accomplishing the objectives of the area
