As the Quality Assurance Manager, you will lead the end-to-end quality assurance processing across the product lifecycle — from development to bulk production and shipment. You will ensure G-STAR's high standards in fabric quality, garment construction, and quality standards are consistently met across all suppliers and production partners. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise in denim & woven and (wet)garment processing, and the ability to drive continuous improvement across global supply chains.
Job Responsibility:
Lead the end-to-end quality assurance processing across the product lifecycle — from development to bulk production and shipment
Ensure G-STAR's high standards in fabric quality, garment construction, and quality standards are consistently met across all suppliers and production partners
Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS) across all suppliers and fabric mills
Oversee annual and bi-annual audits (QMS, MCDP, Sustainability(basic)) and ensure corrective actions are implemented
Conduct risk assessments and classify styles based on complexity and potential quality challenges
Evaluate quality and processes in fabric/trim mills
Ensure consistency in fabric quality, shrinkage, stretch, and treatment results from SMS to bulk production
Approve fabric lots, wash PPS, and shade bands, bulk test reports in line with SOPs
Conduct quality audits on new and existing mills
Coordinate and mentor VQA's
Organize seasonal training programs and performance reviews for suppliers and internal teams
Factory present to monitor quality and provide technical guidance
Oversee and manage all inspection stages: Size Set, Inline (Sewing, Laundry, Finishing), and Pre-Shipment AQL
Manage Records-inspection reports documented, signed, and uploaded to PLM
Manage garment testing (GPT, RSL) and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
Lead quarterly quality performance evaluations for each supplier
Analyze audit results, recurring issues, and process gaps to drive improvements
Present findings and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in quality assurance, garment and fabric production
Strong knowledge of wet & dry garment processing techniques
Strong knowledge & proven experience with denim & woven fabrics
Proven leadership experience managing cross-functional teams and vendors
Proficient in PLM systems, Excel, and data analysis tools
Excellent communication skills in English and Vietnamese
