Job Description:

The Issues Quality Assurance team manages the quality and control of documentation across the issue management lifecycle to support Finance globally. The IQA Lead is responsible for overseeing issue documentation quality, validation, and remediation processes for regulatory and self-identified issues. This is a strategic position requiring analytical, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

Job Responsibility:

Lead effective reviews and challenge to ensure issue opening, monitoring, pre-validation, and pre-closure reviews are of high quality
liaise with issue owners and coordinators to ensure evidence and artifacts meet requirements
lead execution of Control Design and Operating Effectiveness Testing
establish and oversee application of policies and procedures to minimize risks
independently assess risks and address root causes leading to operational losses
export best practices through Framework Papers
perform other duties as assigned
appropriately assess risks when business decisions are made.

Requirements:

5-10 years of experience of relevant Audit, Quality Assurance and/or Controls roles
MS Excel, 5+ years’ experience in financial services
consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
effective organizational influencing skills required
demonstrated ability to lead global team efforts
excellent problem-solving skills
ability to comprehend the big picture with high attention to critical details
demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategy and process improvement initiatives.

Nice to have:

Master’s degree preferred
strong and disciplined analytical skills developed through a consulting, audit, controls, QA or other similar function
people skills for interaction with senior managers, various business units, auditors, and regulators
understanding of driving partnerships required across the first, second, and third lines of defense.
