Job Description:

Job Responsibility:

Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, including coordination with offshore teams
Define and implement QA processes, standards, and best practices across projects
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts (targeting 80% automation coverage for maintenance activities)
Perform manual testing where necessary to ensure comprehensive test coverage
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including development, DevOps, and product management
Conduct testing for SOAP and REST APIs using tools like SOAPUI and Postman
Write and execute basic SQL queries for data validation and backend testing
Ensure quality across CI/CD pipelines using tools like Octopus Deploy, UDeploy, and Jenkins
Participate in release planning, deployment support, and post-release validation
Drive continuous improvement in QA practices and test coverage
Maintain documentation for test plans, test cases, and QA processes

Requirements:

7+ years of experience in manual and automation testing
Strong experience in Java, SQL, and automation frameworks/tools
Proficient in API testing (SOAP/REST)
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Octopus Deploy, and UDeploy
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and leadership skills
Ability to work flexible hours during deployments and critical releases

Nice to have:

2–3 years of experience in the Healthcare domain
Experience with IBM Integration Bus and IBM BPM tools
Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies
Ability to understand the big picture and align QA efforts with business goals
