Job Responsibility:

  • Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, including coordination with offshore teams
  • Define and implement QA processes, standards, and best practices across projects
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts (targeting 80% automation coverage for maintenance activities)
  • Perform manual testing where necessary to ensure comprehensive test coverage
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including development, DevOps, and product management
  • Conduct testing for SOAP and REST APIs using tools like SOAPUI and Postman
  • Write and execute basic SQL queries for data validation and backend testing
  • Ensure quality across CI/CD pipelines using tools like Octopus Deploy, UDeploy, and Jenkins
  • Participate in release planning, deployment support, and post-release validation
  • Drive continuous improvement in QA practices and test coverage
  • Maintain documentation for test plans, test cases, and QA processes

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in manual and automation testing
  • Strong experience in Java, SQL, and automation frameworks/tools
  • Proficient in API testing (SOAP/REST)
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Octopus Deploy, and UDeploy
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours during deployments and critical releases

Nice to have:

  • 2–3 years of experience in the Healthcare domain
  • Experience with IBM Integration Bus and IBM BPM tools
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Ability to understand the big picture and align QA efforts with business goals
