Job Description

This role is focused on QA testing for cable TV and broadband products, supporting lab environments and infrastructure while executing manual testing and contributing to light scripting/automation efforts. The ideal candidate will have experience with RF technologies, networking fundamentals, and hands-on testing in a lab or hardware-focused environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Support and maintain QA lab environments and test infrastructure
  • Execute manual test cases and validate product functionality
  • Identify, document, and track defects in Jira
  • Develop basic scripts to support automation efforts
  • Create test reports and analyze results across test cycles
  • Collaborate with QA and development teams to validate releases

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of QA/testing experience
  • Exposure to RF technologies (e.g., spectrum analyzers)
  • Basic networking knowledge (infrastructure understanding)
  • Experience with scripting (Python preferred)
  • Familiarity with DOCSIS or cable industry technologies (highly preferred)
  • Experience with manual testing and test case/report creation
  • Experience using Jira or similar ticketing tools
  • Exposure to AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) is a plus
  • Prior lab experience preferred but not required
