We are looking for a Quality Assurance Coordinator to join our team in Los Angeles, California. In this role, you will oversee strategic quality assurance processes and collaborate with global teams to ensure compliance with industry standards. This position offers the opportunity to lead quality systems development and grow into a leadership role within the organization.
Job Responsibility:
Conduct inspections of incoming goods to ensure compliance with quality standards
Manage supplier quality by maintaining strong relationships and monitoring their performance
Perform factory audits and inspections to verify adherence to established processes and procedures
Develop, implement, and maintain systems that comply with ISO standards and other applicable regulations
Collaborate with global teams to enhance quality assurance practices across production facilities
Travel to international production sites approximately every five weeks to oversee quality processes
Work closely with sourcing, production, and compliance teams to ensure operational efficiency
Assist in building and improving quality control systems within the organization
Provide strategic input to align quality assurance processes with organizational goals
Support the growth and development of the Quality Control team, fostering leadership potential
Requirements:
Extensive experience in quality assurance within a manufacturing environment
Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards
Knowledge of ISO 14001 standards is highly desirable
Strong interest in leadership development and the ability to lead teams in the future
Willingness to travel internationally every five weeks for approximately four days
Proficiency in Spanish is a plus
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional and global teams
A passion for improving processes and building effective quality systems
